keep in mind everyone is different and some people have extremely sensitive cervix. after all the pressure i've felt the past 3 weeks i guess i feel like nothing could be much worse lol. hope it isn't as bad for you next time!

I guess I have a sensitive cervix because I'll cramp after a pap for a few hours.

you make it worse for yourself when your extremely tense. it's not comfortable in anyway what so ever but you just have to do what works to get through it.

I think it just depends on the day. I've had so many pelvic exams over the years, I've lost count. For the most part, they aren't painful, just uncomfortable. I might be sore the next day or 2 afterwards.

Very true. I think by the time i was getting my water broken with my second i just thought ok relax otherwise this is going to be horrible and it wasnt bad at all. Having my water broken with my first was a bad experience because i just could not relax enough

My first hurt (doctor lifted me off the table) and I went into labor before they ever did another. While I was in labor though they never hurt (weird, huh?) I go for my first one with this pregnancy tomorrow and will decline them until after 40 weeks after this. I'm not as concerned with dilation as I am with position of the baby, once he is settled in I am good, lol!

I could imagine it would be really hard to relax in labor while having your water broken >.<

Yeah I can't hardly make myself relax for stuff like that cause I know what's coming and it makes me tense up! Lol

Im still sore from the one I had 2 days ago. I exclaimed "ow!" 3 times. Felt like she was taking a razor to my cervix.

It really depends on how your cervix is doing and how well the person is at exams. Ive had some that felt like a little pressure, and some that felt like they were trying to take out my cervix with their hand lol.

Sometimes it feels like he's going to crawl out the pressure gets so intense. i would have to say that has been the worst part of my entire pregnancy since it's lasted so long.
