Broken toenail?*graphic*

posted 29th Nov
Omfg.
I just reached down to scratch my foot, and part of my smurfing toenail came off. Like...a corner of it is GONE, exposing skin...

What the smurf do I do about this? Should I just wash it and let it get air, or put a bandaid on it? It stings

WARNING GRAPHIC ISH PIC:

It hurts

I don't even remember it being split or stubbing it or anything. It burns
Oh wait. I DID drop a heavy speaker on my foot last night   Maybe it hit the toenail. Blahhh. I'm so unlucky

My poor baby once kicked the corner of a table and his whole toenail came off. I put peroxide on it then put gauze on it and it got infected then we had to put strong antibiotic cream on it for a long time. I would suggest cleaning it with peroxide then putting antibiotic ointment and a bandaid on it.

If you don't have a band aid, I've used a cotton ball or toilet paper and tape before. You don't want to catch the edge of the rest of the nail on something.
