Help!

This is my first pregnancy, and I am so scared. Yesterday I had a bit of spotting, and I was puking. Not sure if it was the smell due to working at that moment at a fast food place. But I am 18weeks, and 4 days. I rushed to the ER. They did a cervix exam, and I bled all over, said I had a soft cervix. Today, I went to the bathroom, when I wiped I found a brownish discharge? Was it the end of the bleeding from the exam? I still have some cramping, not hard very light cramping. Doc said it was normal up till 24hrs of exam. I was laying on my left side about 20 minutes ago, and got a sharp pain? Not sure it happened because I was laying like that for too long or what. I'm really nervous, and scared. If anyone has any advice, please help.

My doctor basically said if I was worried go ahead and go in. Basically better safe than sorry. You can always call and see.

I do have to go in tomorrow for a check-up, but I have just been freaking out all night.

I wouldn't worry too much. Its normal to have discharge after a vaginal exam. Dis they put you oj bedrest? And the pain is called round ligament pain. It's also normal during pregnancy.

Great to hear! They have me outta work for three days, but said if I felt better to go ahead back in. Thank you!
