DH and I have had a few drinks when the kids have gone to bed but we never got "drunk". The only time that happens is if someone is watching them overnight for us.

I don't drink,but if i did i would do it while my child is sleeping and i wouldn't get smurf faced.

Yeah, but we have rules when we drink at home while the kids are still here
- They have to be sleeping, no alcohol is to be out or open while they're awake.
- One of us has to be sober in case of emergency or they have a general need for something.
- We don't have more than 1-2 other drinking adults in our house. As in, we don't throw house parties, lol. (Hell, we don't throw parties when the kids are gone. Not enough friends for that, lmao)
