There are times when the immediate need of one child outweighs that of another. That's like saying if a car was coming at one child, you have to stand by the side of the road and watch them get hit on the chance that a rabid dog may come after your other child. If you disagree that's fine. But I would put the immediate danger of my child over the possible danger of the other. And there was never another mention of another child, that I ever read.
