Lol your good sounds just like me and my SO lol! When we had the break up talk he tried to convince me he would get LO I didn't even bother arguing lol! He would call me about 10 minutes after he got home to come get DS! Yeah I got pretty pissed when he covered his ears I talked to him briefly about it the next morning and he said his cry is annoying and he didn't want to hear it like I just want to wake up to a screaming baby every night and then take care of the baby and SO off of 4hrs of sleep! I just wish he was as good with the baby as he is to me! He's so sweet and caring but just doesn't understand the whole 'daddy' thing just yet :p I would have been PISSED if he tried to put him down to sleep with a diaper and left him there! Especially if I was doing the hard part of cleaning out the bathtub!

I don't even think I got mad at him for the diaper thing...all I could do was shake my head. It baffled me, that's for sure. He's a terrific Dad though. He works very hard for the 3 of us to have a good life....I just wish sometimes he would pick up more slack around here...but I know if he did, I would feel the need to follow behind him and make sure he "did it right"   I'm a control freak, and I can admit it...haha

Lol! I understand where your coming from! My SO is a great dad also just doesn't like doing any of the 'mommy' stuff lol! He loves his son and works for DS and myself to have what we want. And I deff agree with your last sentence! I would do the same thing! I consider myself quite the control freak also   I mean if he were to help I wouldn't try to critique him but I would fix it after he was gone! I guess men will be men  

Thank you for letting me vent to you and you vent back lol! I hate doing it to family because they just stare at me and try to give me advice and act like there relationship is perfect while they try to fix mine making me feel worse about it all like I'm the only one and there SO or whatever has always been a devoted father and has always helped them :p So it makes me feel like I'm smurf talking my SO which I love dearly and would never try to say anything incredibly rude about because I know he is trying :p

I used to (still do on occassion) inspect LO's diaper after he had just changed it...I was caught in the act   That's when SO took a huge step back and wouldn't help out as much. He used to be super excited to help me bathe LO, pick out his outfits for the day, put him to sleep, he even tried to get me to introduce the bottle to him earlier so that he could take part in the feedings....as soon as he caught me "fixing" his diaper, all of that other stuff seemed to stop   I only have myself to blame...oh well...I was there when LO rolled over for the first time. I was the one that LO smiled at (the real smiles, not the gassy smiles) for the first time. I was the first one to hear that adorable giggle for the first time...so in the end, he's missing out on a bunch of stuff because of his "hissy fit"   Although, not being the only one doing his laundry all the time would be a nice change...lol
