Im breaking down.

so monday i took my SO to the ER because he had been throwing up all day and couldnt keep anything down,after a 8 hour ER visit they rushed him via ambulance to a different hospital for kidney failure. My SO is only 20 years old but he's had high blood pressure his whole life and its caused this. we've now been in the hospital for 4 days hes starting dialysis asap, had his surgery for that this morning, but their saying its gonna be 3-7 more days till he gets to go home. he now needs a kidney transplant, we have no insurance AND he's not gonna be able to work for 3-6 months once he does get a transplant. I have a three year old at home and im pretty sure im at my breaking point. Iv tried to stay strong for my SO during this but my MIL brought my son today because i couldnt go another day without seeing him and iv been bawling since he left, my SO doesntwant me to leave his side but im home sick. i miss my son he called me crying that he wants to go home this is HORRRRRRRRIBLE! we live 2 hours from the hospital were at so i cant just run home for a little while.. I honestly am losing it !

I know your SO wants you there with him. But it's your SON...you need to see him. I would go home and at least spend a night with him and then go back.

Would your MIL be able to come stay with him, so you can be with your son for some time?

I'm so sorry. I wish I had something more I can contribute than just well wishes, but I hope things work out for you.

He doesnt want his mom here... He only allowed her here so she could bring our son for a few hours.. She stresses him out to much..

On top of all of this, medicade denied him.. How freaking ridiclous!
He makes 2400 a month and they expect that income to pay for all his medical supplys.. UGH

I'm sorry hun,that's awful.
