short napper

posted 29th Nov
My DS is 6 months old, he only takes like 2 or 3 15-30 min naps a day. He sleeps from about 9 or 10 to around 4 drinks a bottle sleeps till 7 and is up for the day...should he be sleeping longer during the day cuz everyone else tells me its weird that he doesn't take long naps. Today he took 2 10min naps that's it. He will sleep a little longer if I'm holding him but not much and his short naps is when I rush to get some things done so holding him is hard sometimes

My DS (7 weeks) is like that too! Apparently some babies just prefer short naps. Today I nursed him into a coma practically and then co-napped. I guess my presence near him helped him sleep cause he napped for 1hr and 45 minutes for the first time in a long time

When he was younger he took pretty long naps, I've tried to co nap w him he'll sleep for 45 min at the longest but that's about when I'm just falling asleep and then I'll be more tired than before. Thankfully when my husbands in town I get a few naps in, but if I hear him cry I get up

DD is like that. she'll sleep longer if held but either right as you put her down or within 5 mins, she's awake. she needs more sleep than she's getting but she doesn't get it day or night. though she sleeps about 12 hrs a night, she always seems tired and cranky
