Yes with both of them. My DH would get so excited about names and how he was going to decorate their room. I would just start crying because I just knew it wasn't going to happen. I knew the baby wouldn't stick. My family called me terrible things for not being "positive and optimistic" and were quick to mention "if you had been more.positive then maybe.the baby would have been fine".

I didn't with my CP, but with my MMC I had a scraping sensation against my cervix all the time. Not like an actual feeling, but like.. feeling like metal was scraping my cervix or uterus.

No I didn't actually know I had a miscarriage until years later. I was 18 and my period was a few weeks late which it never had been before, I had a feeling I was pregnant and had planned to take a pregnancy test if it didn't come in a few days. Well my "period" came one morning, I went to College and within a few hours I was experiencing severe cramps, I didn't feel right at all and went to the toilets just to take some painkillers and sit, I was bleeding like I never had before, was doubled over in tears feeling like I was gonna pass out and ended up phoning my boyfriend (my now DH) to come pick me up and he had to come into the actual College toilets and get me to walk me out cos I was feeling so light headed, etc. I stayed in bed all day and he looked after me and it was a really really awful heavy period. It wasn't actually until years later when my best friend had an early miscarriage it dawned on me what had happened, I had always just put it down to this odd horrible period but now I know I had a miscarriage.

Quoting katxo:" When you were pregnant, did you ever get a gut feeling like you were going to lose the baby? Like you ... [snip!] ... It freaked me the smurf out, b/c the only thing I thought about, was that dream I had. It sucked really bad obviously..."

I've never had a miscarriage but I had dreams with both pregnancies that I woke up bleeding and miscarried. It never happend though... but it did freak me out alot.

I had no indication that I lost a baby at 17 weeks. I had an appt at 14 weeks as things were fine. When I went for my next appt, I had zero idea baby stopped growing. No bleeding, no cramping, no nothing!!
