You barely burn any calories   it tells you when you do the activities. Maybe doing the yoga will get some results, you can customize your workout with the yoga

Quoting Ms.Eagles:" A few years ago, I bought myself a Wii Fit for Christmas, but never really used it (lol) I know I need ... [snip!] ... Has anyone ever used the Wii Fit and gotten some decent results? I just want to know if it's worth unpacking and setting up."

I liked the wii active (the second one) and you can use the wii fit board with it. I would actually sweat after each 30min work out, and my legs would be shaking lol.

I've only ever tried Yoga once...I went with a beginner's class with one of my girlfriends, and I could hardly get past the breathing...haha...that's why I bought the Wii Fit. I didn't stick with it though. I think I set up all my information, but I never did any of the "workouts"

Is it expensive, do you know? I don't want to spend a tonne of money...because I'll probably end up quitting again (I don't have high hopes for myself) My SO's boss has a gym in his basement that I'm allowed to go over and use, but the only gym equipment I know how to use is the treadmill, and I'm too embarassed to work out in front of anyone, so I never know when to go over there...and this way I can workout at home and still watch LO

no it's been out for a while, they might actually have another version of it now. But it's just the game no more than like $40.00 and that's when it came out.

I have the wii fit plus which has more game/workouts. If you do the strength training & the yoga youll get better results. They also have workout games with the fit plus. I got the EA sports active fit for the PS3 and its really good. Its more like an actual workout im not sure if they have it for the wii or not

I think I might have the Wii Fit Plus, actually. I can't remember. It's been so long since I've even looked at it, tbh...we have a PS3, but I don't want to buy something that's pretty much the same as what I have, especially with my track record of giving up on myself. I just know I have to do something...these love handles aren't going to shed themselves. If only LO were older and more active...then I could just run around the house chasing after him all day long....ahaha....

I think the EA active was around 30. Its just like a regular workout except it has little sensors that are strapped to your leg and arm. So it tracks your heartrate & your movement without a controller

Ooooh...I'll have to look into that. Thanks!
