I don't think he does either, it just sounded that way. I wanted to breastfeed for the first year but I had to have surgery for gall stones and the diet I had to be on my milk supply ran out. If he was a girl I don't think I would have thought twice about it.

My 3.5 year old walks in on me and his dad, he knows the body parts and that mine are different. He knows there's a baby in my belly and that it will come out of my vagina. He knows baby will eat my boobs and remembers when HE ate my boobs (I nursed til 24 months).

He thinks nothing of it.

We're working on "private" and we don't touch each other's parts, but we're not ashamed of being nude.

This is what he did. He actually did a double take. He was walking past then turned around and stared with this confused look on his face and it threw me back a little because I literally change in front of him every day and just all of a sudden today he looked confused about it. We even took a bath together yesterday because he's a little sick and needed to soak but wanted me to hold him, so I got in with him and we played and he never even looked at all. It was like all of a sudden it hit him that they were there lol.

I definitely think its normal.. My son one day came up to me while I was going to the bathroom and told me my penis was broken(he's two).. He always pokes my boobs and yells boobies.. But we are very open with our bodies. Just because my son looked at me weird because he recognizes we are different I wouldn't quit being naked, we just explain why there are differences.
