birth control:/

Well Monday I go get my birth control thing in my arm. I'm so scared of it  I seen it be done and it looked painful  I actually didn't even want it my mother told me to get this one. I just don't like things that go in my body that are not suppose to be in there. So im just wondering if anyone has had a bad time with this kind of birth control? If so like what?

If you dont want it, dont get it. Its your body and your BC should be YOUR choice. I have heard horror stories about implanon, but you will find anyone with a horror story about any birth control. You just have to find out what works best for you and your body.

Can't back out of it now because they already have it and if I don't get it its 300 dollers that we have to pay. I just hope its a good birth control for me.

I got it. It did not hurt at all to have it inserted or taken out. They numb up your arm which barely hurts as well. It was great for me.

That's the WORST bc I've EVER been on. It changed me, so horribly. I was never in control of my emotions, at first I thought it was just my body getting used to the hormones so I kept convincing myself it'd get better and just wait it out. It got worse. I was a mess ALL THE TIME. I was NEVER happy. I cried about everything. I gained over 25 lbs on it, it's damn near impossible to lose weight with it.

I took it out a few weeks ago and since I've lost 14 lbs and for the first time since before I had it, I feel like I finally have my head on right.

It didn't? Well that's good to hear I'm so as scared of it to be honest lol

Search implanon on here, there are SO many horror stories about it, it's not just me. Google implanon side effects. I wish I researched it before I got it.

Well the one I'm getting is called nexplanon. The biggest thing I'm scared about is gaining weight. I'm always been tiny and I would just feel awful if I got big  I could barely deal with being pregnant:/

Im pretty sure they cant charge you for it. They will just hold onto it for the next person. My doctors office just has it in office ready to go.

They can't charge you unless you get it.

My doctor getting each other there own custom made one. So that's why I would I have to pay for it because no one else could use it.

I think your doctor is making stuff up. They cant charge you for it if you refuse it. Otherwise you would of already paid for it when they "ordered" it. No one orders or makes custom items without payment first. Even the dentist wants payment for custom dental work before ordering it.
