Piercing Headaches

I have pain like slicing through my head. Like it feels like someone is taking a white hot knife and slicing my head apart.... It feels horrible! Normally take 1000 milligrams of tylenol (two 500 milligrams or an 800 and a 200) but now all I have are 200 milligrams and I don't really want to take 5 of them..... But anything less just doesn't help.... Ugh...... I feel like poo.... Thankfully the kids are in bed. Anyone have any home remedies for headaches?? It hurts so bad ):

Wish I did, my headaches get the same way if I don't manage them before they get out of hand. Tylenol NEVER works for me, try Motrin? Also try just laying down in the pitch black, that should help. If you have them constantly, try to see a neurologist...I have had a headache for over 3 months straight, the neurologist gave me headache medicine but I can't take it while breast feeding

800 milligrams Ibpro is the only thing that works for me. Other then narcotics. And a cool wash rag

One time when I was having one of the worse that I have that wasnt a migraine I got in the bath tub, pulled my knees up and laid my head back so it like floated in the water. I was in so much pain I swear it felt like the water helped take the pressure of gravity off of it. Idk if that sounds crazy but I was in so much pain and I helped me at the time. I turned the lights off and just relaxed

Next time u go to the store buy Excedrine Migraine. Two of those knock my migraines out instead of taking all that tylenol. Not helpful now, but maybe next time..

I wish 800mg of motrin even worked for me.   I keep getting prescribed these diff meds for headaches but they either have very undesirable side effects or they are not compatible with breastfeeding.   I am stuck.

Mix peppermint and lavander oil on your fingertips and rub the mix on your temples.

Bayer migraine since excedrine migraine was taken off the market   I'm still bitter about that


And a bed buddy around the back of my neck. There are recipes to make your own at home online.

Ahh!! I had no idea. Lol. I stocked up when they were.on sale a while back so its prolly ben about 1.5-2 years since ive bought any. And cant take it rigjt now anyway.

My mom had a chronic migraine problem and a neurologist prescribed her meds like that. Aleave is the only thing that really helps me but DH never gets it... He always gets Tylenol because that's what works for him

Yeah it was August of 2011 when it was taken off the market. I was so mad until I found Bayer migraine. Advil makes a migraine medicine now too I just could never find it.

That normally works but I've had 3 nasty gross guys showering in my shower and it hasn't been cleaned lately.... ):

I will have to try this. I've been wanting to get peppermint and lavender oil for a while so now I have a reason(:

I have a friend who didn't believe me till.she tried it. She was sleeping over and had a headache and I made her try it.... she bought some the next day.
