My youngest daughter shes 4months.

she will not let anyone else hold her but myself.
she screams, and screams,and screams

real tears pouring out doesn't stop until whoever is trying to hold her hands her back to me...

she lets daddy hold her, briefly... and if she sees me while he is holding her its over.

any tips on breaking her from this? mommy needs a break sometimes, and her grandparents aunts and uncles would love to hold her....

TIA

My daughter did this. She finally grew out of it.

my oldest son was like that.. his dad wasnt really in the picture so it was just me and him, if I walked out of his line of sight he would be cring and freaking out!! it was horrible at times , especially if i wanted to leave to just go shopping by myself to get a break =) he is now 9 and one of the most sweetest caring little boys ever. he stil likes to cuddle and give hugs. very lovable, a little over sensitive at times but hes a wonderful little boy. so now when i look back at it yes at times it was frustrating but now that hes older i know its his personality =)

Dear lord, you're describing Logan to the T.

He's been like that since about 3 months and I tell you it has been quite stressful to the point of screaming into a pillow.

He's now 10 months old, and let's Daddy hold him for a while. As long as he's occupied or she's riding her scooter, he'll let his grandmother hold him (she's wheel chair bound). Same with his grandfather.

Now other people? There are .... conditions LoL. I have to be in sight and they have to be standing the whole time doing something.

Thankfully it's not as bad as it used to be but there are days I feel like he's crawled up my ass and just won't go away. Other days I enjoy the clingy cause he's only gonna be little once and my luck is that he won't be so cuddling later on!
