That's what happened with me. I almost had to have mine surgically removed and the dr could not find it for a long time- it sucked

Yeah mine found it really easily, she tugged and said it had some give, so she wanted to try and pull it... and YOINK. I screamed and jumped, it came out covered in bloody tissue and flesh... SO was shocked.

Same. I wouldn't even consider the paragard after my experience with the Mirena.

We torture ourselves to keep from having babies but keep having sex, lol.

Don't be, they KNEW mine was probably embedded somewhat. It had give, but they're supposed to slide right out when done right. Mine didn't. You'll know when they evaluate it if it's embedded or not.

I love my Mirena! I haven't had a single period in 3 years! And I havent had any issues from it at all.

Meh, the hormones smurfed me up bad. And it embedded. I'm glad it's worked for you but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Anything I have to go to a doctor to get removed, yeah, no bueno. I like pills, I can stop those anytime I damn well want.

Oh god, I can't stand the pills, lol! I can't remember to take medicine, even when I'm sick.

Ah see, the hormones in the pills I take are the opposite of the ones in the Mirena, so I feel great on them, and I always remember to take them because I take them when I wake up in the AM. Been doing it since I was 15, never missed more than one day here and there.

When I did remember to take them, they wouldn't bother me, but I'd go weeks without even thinking about taking a pill. Then I'd remember and be like, "Holy smurf!" Lol!
