Period/ovulation question
posted 29th Nov
Is it possible to ovulate twice in a month?
Like...
My period was due 3 days ago. It never came but now I'm having clear discharge, similar to what I would have during ovulation.
I don't track ovulation because we're not TTC, but is it possible that I'm ovulating a second time? Or that I didn't ovulate the first time, my cycle has lengthened, and I'm just now ovulating, instead of having my period?
Took 2 negative tests, btw.

I thought the same thing one time so I did some research and nope, you can only ovulate once per cycle....

maybe I didn't ovulate until now then...but like...why would I ovulate 2 weeks late? I just don't want to be pregnant This is much too stressful.

Maybe something in your life is causing you stress and your cycle was thrown off a bit so you're only just ovulating now

It's possible to have two or more dominate follicles (eggs) at ovulation. Within 24 hours both will be released but you can not have two separate ovulation events in a month.
Example; I'm taking Clomid and I have monitored cycles. I had to mature follicles this month. I went in for blood work and an ultrasound. I ovulated on the right side, but the left side still has a mature follicle that will be released sometime today since I ovulated yesterday.
