leaky boobs

when does colustrum usually start to leak? should i be producing it by now? just a random thought

I never had any leakage at all, not even after I gave birth. I succesfully breastfed for 16 months. Not everyone produces anything before giving birth.

Some produce it in pregnancy, some do not. When the placenta leaves the body, it will kick into gear, along with baby's suckling.

I leaked my whole pregnancy with DD and than with DS I didnt leak at all, not even once.

Not everyone leaks. I started leaking with my first around 20 weeks and kept leaking the entire time. With this one I was leaking around 20 weeks again but it's stopped now. I can still express it but it's not making my nipples all itchy and it's not leaking like it was a couple months ago.

Mine just started a few days ago and I'm 35 + 3. As the others have said it's totally normal to not have any at all and doesn't indicate how easily you will breastfeed either if you're planning to.
