OP, I thought his two kids were living with you? So guys are no longer together?

Are you on good terms? If not, I wouldn't let him in the birthing room.

Oh. I thought the two kids were HIS kids and your BD had moved in with you. My bad, lol.

Now that makes more sense, I definitely wouldn't let him in the delivery room. To appointments, yes, but during the labor? No. He seems like a douchebag.

Quoting lilmzzgreeneyez *NMOA*:" yea no. this is his first and only child as far as he knows. and he didnt really want any kids of his ... [snip!] ... august and ill probably only see him once before i give birth. he wants a DNA test before he does anything for me or the baby."

I would just go ahead and get the DNA test if it will make him pay for child support and help you with the baby. But make sure to go through the courts system. Don't rely on him to keep his word.

Also, he sounds really immature, tbh.

So are all of the fathers of your children illegal?

And do you have a way to support your kids without the child support?

Quoting lilmzzgreeneyez *NMOA*:" no they are not all illegal. i get child support on one of my children. the rest i get cash help from ... [snip!] ... cash help from their dad whenever he gets paid but he WONT pay if i do the child support route so theres no point in trying."

Ugh. I'm sorry.

I would definitely have a sit down over finances w/the baby's father and have something in writing (amounts agreed, etc).

Quoting lilmzzgreeneyez *NMOA*:" it would be helpful. i am not able to do this completely alone. honestly if i had found out when i was ... [snip!] ... did a preg test and it was positive) i saw the baby and saw that there was indeed a heartbeat and i just COULDNT do it by then."

I definitely understand! Having an abortion isn't for everyone, and I can see why someone would regret having it.

That said, after having this baby, have you thought about trying a temporary, longterm birth control method? Like Implanon?

Oh man, I'm sorry.   And for your loss. My condolences.

Whatever the case is, you seem to be super fertile. At the rate you are going, you could very well have a sixth kid by the time you are 25. I don't know about you, but I don't think I could handle six kids without going nuts. However, I would definitely talk to a OB/GYN and talk about alternatives.

If you don't feel he will be supportive in the room with you then no. At first I was saying if he's being supportive why not let him but then I read the rest of the thread.
