Quoting Liam&Xander's Mama:" i went to a routine high risk appt on tuesday, (i'm high risk due to chronic kidney disease, only one ... [snip!] ... cramping/contractions but not timeable or intense is that normal even with being on the procardia? TIA for any stories advice."
I was a high risk (endometriosis, seizure condition, being born at 7 months) that had PTL around that time. I ended up with a baby two days overdue. I was around 27 to 28 weeks when my water had a small tear in it and started slowly leaking. I stayed in the hospital for a while so they could make sure DD wasn't getting an infection and to make sure that the tear was healing properly and making sure it didn't break completely. PLEASE make sure you follow their instruction and take bed rest seriously. It may get VERY, VERY boring but to have a healthy baby, it's worth it. GL mama.
