I thought so. I told him that but because it was all black he just fell in love. I think I'm going to get a frame stroller, car seat, BOB jogger from Craigslist and then a nice lightweight when baby outgrows the infant carrier.

Do you know which frame carrier supports a wide array of carseats? I haven't decided on my seat yet but I'm thinnking one that goes past the standard 22 lbs.

Well. If you wanted to kill 2 birds, there are some really nice light weight strollers that are car seat compatible!!!

I LOVE my Bugaboo Bee+...it's Graco, Peg Perego, Chicco and Maxi Cosi compatible [we used the Mico]. It's also suitable from birth w/a flat recline, roomy underbasket, turns on a dime, adjustable leg rests/handle/back rests, lots of limited editions & color options. We also use the wheeled board so that our daughter can hitch a ride. This is my go to stroller!!!

The Baby Jogger City Mini is another great light weight. Easiest fold on the market. Compact, car seat compatible, smooth 1 hand maneuvering, gianormous canopy...etc.

Maclaren Techno XLR has a universal car seat adapter. Near flat recline, so it's suitable from birth. Adjustable leg rest, height adjustable handles, infant head support...etc. They also have a TON of CUTE liners!!! It has a ton of headroom and a high weight limit, plus it's a Maclaren so it'll last you FOREVER. The only problem I had with ours was that when folded it was really long and an awkward fit in our trunk because of that.

u would probably end up spending less money if u just bought a BOB and a Bee+, instead of getting a frame for the car seat plus a lightweight stroller later on. The Bee Plus is both car seat frame and lightweight stroller. Personally, I hate umbrella fold strrollers

Isn't the Bee like $600? SO would kill me if I spent 600 on one stroller lol. I LOVE that stroller and have been slobbing over Bugaboo for the longest I just can't afford 600 all at once KWIM?
Does anywhere sell them used?

Craigslist, eBay, there is a buy/sell/trade group on Facebook [mostly UK/AU thought] I snagged our Bee for $300 off Craigslist, but had to drive down to Jacksonville to pick it up [it's the one in the pic]. I also just got a Cameleon off eBay for $212 +shipping...it's the 2nd gen and it came with a few extra's. Both looked new, no stains, barely any wear & tear. More pics in my 'Home Stuff' album...

I'm going to look on EBAY. There is only 1 on Craigslist and its $500. Do you recommend the coccoon?

That is the up & down side of a Bugaboo. They really hold their value, so even used they can be pricey...but great deals always pop up, you just have to have patience & constantly search. Sometimes, time isn't on your side.

I would only suggest the cocoon if you plan to use the Bee from birth & will NOT be using it with a car seat/adapters as a 'travel system'

I plan to use it from birth but we are choosing between a Britax and a Safety 1st car seat. I ddn't see those as compatible with the Bee.
I love Maxi Cosi but I need something with a higher weight limit. I'm going to look into Peg Perego though (sp)

We had a Primo Viaggio with #3 and I wasn't very happy with it. Especially as much as we paid! I surprisingly replaced it with a Graco Safeseat, which I ended up really liking. Obviously, people like their Peg Perego's...but I have to wonder if they are just buying it for the name or reputation for quality, because I didn't find much to love about it?!

The Mico does have a low weight limit, but a really tall shell so it was perfect for our long/slim baby [used it for 14mo]. Maxi Cosi now offers the Prezi, which has a 30lb weight limit, non-rethreading harness and a TON of safety & convenience features. Another great option is the Cybex Aton, it's as light as the Mico w/a 30lb weight limit. It's also compatible w/any stroller that takes a Maxi Cosi, they use the same adapters!

Hope that gives you some options...

Thank you it does!! My son was on the chunky side, and a but taller. He grew out of his Graco at 6ish months. My daughter was itty bitty and could have easily been in hers until 12+ months. I have no clue who this one will take after so I want all basis covered lol.

.chele, do you reccomend the Bugaboo Bee or the Quinny Buzz? I saw that the Buzz has a higher weight limit, or is that just on the older models?

I saw a Bee on ebay for 183!!

What is the difference between the Bee and the Cameleon??

i know im not chele, but i thought id give my input as well.

The Buzz is different in the sense that its heavier. has larger rear wheels, but one pet peeve I have with Quinnys, is that in rear facing mode, your baby is never sitting up...i guess it has to do with tipping issues...theyre both totally different. because the Bee is just lighter and zippyer (if thats a word) and the Quinny is just bulkier and heavier...also a Quinny will accept a bassinet, the Bee wont. You also cant really compare the Bee to the Cameleon, the Bee is just their lighter stroller, but it cant be used off roading really, the Cameleon however can to some extent. The Cameleon also accepts a bassinet, has a bucket style seat, its just different, but it really depends on what ur looking for. If ur going to be using the BOB as your off roader, and need something lightweight, then the Bee is the better option. The Cameleon folds in two pieces. the Bee in one. They have some similar features. but some different. Id say u could compare the Buzz to th Cameleon more than the Bee, but I'd honestly choose a Cameleon over a Buzz, only because its easier in every aspect.

Thank you! So the chameleon is just heavier and bulkier, but it is NOT a jogging stroller correct?
I live in Atlanta (right outside the city) but we drive EVERYWHERE. And when we do walk around stores and such its mostly concrete, pavement, store tiles nothing that even a cheap umbrella couldn't handle.
I wanted the BOB for jogging but HATE the look of them but I will sacrifice that for obvious safety.
