How do you know if your water's are leaking?

I woke up dis-morning with a massive wet patch that went through my pjays and everything also been feeling a lot of pressure when baby move's and sometimes a feeling like I have pulled a muscle?.. I'm 36 weeks but was rushed to hospital with contractions last week turns out it was false labour? Don't feel like last week so surely it can't be contractions???

I didn't know.. I thought I kept randomly peeing myself while I was walking. the next day I had an appointment, my OB tested me and sure enough it was my water

Put a pad on if its soaked in a an hour or less it may be your water. If when you stand up a gush comes out it may be your water. Most likely was just discharge but if you honestly think its your water its best to get checked.

Discharge wouldn't go thru to your trousers though would it ? :/ and okay I think I might try that I go toilet every 10 mins rufley anyways so ill try not to go see what happens x

3 trips to L&D tell me yes discharge can soak you. How far along are you?

That is exactly how I felt with my daugther when I was 36 weeks & waited it out for 4 days. My daughter had to be put on IV antibiotics for 3 days because she got a bad infection from my water leaking for that long. It is better to go get checked then to wait it out.

mine was constant. I thought it was just discharge or pee, i had to wear a pad because it kept soaking my panties and pants.

Most likely discharge very common at that stage but because of the risk infection its always better to be checked or at least call your doctor and see what they say. The test is pretty quick to check for fluid.

That has happened to me before, but I'm pretty sure I just peed a little. Nothing else happened after that.

That's what it felt like, like I just wet my self. Was wired :/ x

Most likely just sitting low which is putting pressure on your cervix and muscles.
