I just made a POF account and had to download the app in order to upload a picture. My phone won't stop going off!! Lol. If I delete the app will it change anything on my account??

no, you can delete the app, and everything will still be on the computer version.

You can change the settings I think so that it wont make an alert on your phone but I may be wrong.

Could you change the notification settings? I did that so the site would stop e-mailing me every time someone freakin' viewed my profile.

Just disable the alerts and emails. I don't get any notifications anymore
