Monday Morning.

at 6am I will be induced. I am 80% effaced, and 3.5 cmn dilated. One day before my due date. There is no problem with it all the doctor said. She gave me the choice to wait a week after my due date, because they won't let us go over 41 weeks. Which I think is pretty awesome. I have not gotten sleep in over one week, maybe 6 hours together. Haven been retaining water so bad, my ankles have ankles, and it hurts to walk up the stairs now. And my blood pressure is getting kinda high. So in all that, I am pretty excited about this decision I made today with my doctor.
oh, and I will be doing this pretty much by myself at the hospital. SO won't be there with me at 6am. He will be at home sleeping. Because he is not ditching his daughter for a couple days while I deliver his son. He said I smurf you not "Smurf you, Im not ditching my daughter for you" Kinda hurt my feelings about the situation. But I guess it is what it is.




**I know i'm bout to get a million comments saying you should wait til this baby is ready and etc etc. I guess I can take some bashing from ladies who know everything about labor and birthing and all that because we all are doctors on this website.

If your already 3.5 I don't know why they don't just break your water at 4 and see if that will start things up rather than put you thru pit.

If you think you're going to sleep better AFTER the baby is born....

Because my doctor wont be there all night, and if i go in. they like for one doctor to be on shift all night, and not switching shifts so diff doctors. And my doc wil be there all day and night monday.

Oh, i know I will be more sleep deprived then I already am. I am deff fine with that. For teh fact I wont have this belly in my way anymore.

as far as your SO goes.. can he and his daughter not be at the hospital with you until you go into hard labor? and then can't he have someone (grandma, aunt, friend) sit with her during the hard labor? I have 4 kids and you can bet your ass my husband didnt hang out at home with the other kids while I was in labor...

Yeah, he doesnt wanna ditch her at all. I told him they can chill with me there til things get crazy, then have someone watch her (his dad), he thinks im going to be in labor for like 3 days or soething, and he has to sit with me the whole 3 days. I mean, i dunno what to do. I just want him there with me. thats all.
