Tell her when shes over 18 and in a good place mentally to handle the information. A person deserves to know what has happened to them and their body, they have a right.
quoteposted 29th Nov
Tough.
I would say that would be on a need to know basis.
I would spare her that information.
Perhaps when she was an adult and considered seeking out her father, I would tell her then.
I would do my best not to have that discussion with her until she was well into her 20's.

I would tell her, because if it happened to me i would want to know the truth myself so i can keep any grandchildren from him. That's just my opinion.
quoteposted 29th Nov
No, I don't think I would but she may end up finding out eventually due to medical records, depending on what is said in them. Its a tough situation.
That is just horrible.
quoteposted 29th Nov
I would wait until she is older and could handle that information a little better.

Unless there was a medical reason she had to know, or someone else who was likely to tell her, I wouldn't tell her. Let her grow up free of the terrible knowledge of what pieces of smurf some people are, for as long as she can.
Perhaps when she was much, much, much older. But it would be a very difficult decision.

I'd tell her at 16 or 18.

Smurf like this makes me so sick. Who could do that to such a innocent little baby. I'm torn, I don't know what I'd do, honestly.

I would not tell her.
The only positive of the rape in this case is that she can't remember it. The memory a major part of the trauma, the only part once you've physically healed.
Telling her would be like her experiencing it all over again.

I would tell her...but I'd wait until she was older and able to understand what happened. I'd tell her because she has a right to know, and eventually she is going to find out as it will be in her medical files. I would also tell her so that if she were to ever have children, she would keep them away from the monster that raped her.
quoteposted 29th Nov
I wouldn't unless in her twenties she asked if she was sexually abused.

No.
Ignorance is a bliss, especially in cases like these.
