single mums

Hey guys im 19 my bf left me when he found out I was pregnant Im gettin pretty freaked about all this pregnancy stuff my mum has sopke to me since I decided to keep the baby. My friends try to help but they don't undertand sorry if this is in the wrong place or not the kind of forum for this kind of thing.

I personally think being a single mother is easier, maybe not financially, but in general.

Thank you so much just spent hours searching the internet and this was the most active forum I have come across really looking forward to chatting with people who know what I m going through

It really is. I love being able to make decisions on my own and never having to rely on anyone else to help me with anything.

Thank you everything is pretty manic at the minute being a waitress and it coming up to christmas plus buying all the baby and trying to get in touch with my ex.

But OP, welcome to BG. It's a scary thought but when you baby is here everything will seem to natural, sometimes it may be hard and you may ask yourself when are you going to be able to take a piss by yourself....but when you look back on it it's so worth it.

Thank u so much means so much to hear it from mums and people who have experiance my firends are all still going out and partying not really in the same situation.

I joined BG in 2008 as a jobless pregnant soon to be 20 year old single mother.
4 years later I am still very active, was recently married to my husband, a girl I met on BG actually led our wedding ceremony. and have a healthy almost 4 year old and trying for my next. This place has been a great source of information.

Sorry to hear you are on your own. It can be done. There are some really great single moms out there.

My mom was a single mom with my sister until she met my dad and they got married when my sister was 5 and he legally adopted her (my sister didn't have a bio father on her birth certificate) and then they had me and my brother and we are all happy and my parents are still together

You may lose friends but to be honest the ladies on BG are amazing support. DO NOT let a cat fight that you may see scare you off. I have met some ladies off here IRL and text others frequently. These BG mommas are the best.
