Is it just me who wonders this?

Twins. They have the same DNA. If a set of twins married another set of twins and they had kids would their kids all look the same? Would they technically be like siblings, DNA wise?

I would have to say no because each of the children made by the different couples could inherite a different variety of dominant and recessive genes.

Assuming that two identical twins married two other identical twins...yes.

But sometimes cousins still look more alike than siblings, even when this doesn't happen. lol

Would you and your husband produce the exact same looking kid every time you had a baby?

Basically, you'd have the same genetic pool for both couples, so they would genetically resemble a sibling set.

But you can get so much variation within siblings.

no identical twins don't always look identical and one set could pull more genes from the mother while the other could pull more from the father. I mean it COULD probably happen, but I think it's unlikely.

hahaha i have actually wondered about this before!!

I know that there are a lot of variances and such. But genetically, would their DNA markers match? It's just always intrigued me  

They would test as siblings.Not all the same, but siblings.

Not necessarily, but they would be double cousins which is kind of cool.

OP, I've actually never thought about this. lol

I myself have identical twin boys who are 12. They look NOTHING alike, never have. They were born at 35 weeks due to TTTS and where just over two pounds difference. And for years have stayed 20 pounds apart. One has ASD and an SPD so he went years with out eating a very good variety, but has been gaining nicely these days

To me, they look exactly alike, except has a few pounds on the other. Otherwise, I wouldn't able to tell them apart.

Lol. They look like identical twins! People will certainly confuse them.
