That's what I did!

Awesome I think I am going to try it out, I have a little less then half a can of formula left and I think I'm going to do half and half till its out and then full goats milk and see how she handles it. Where do I buy rice syrup though?

I got mine at the health food store. I've also used blackstrap molasses before when they were out of the rice syrup. That you can find at Walmart. It's just there to provide carbohydrates and make it taste a little better.

i gimy 3 month old 2 ounces of prune juice every couple days if he hasnt pooped, i talked to my pedi first, she said not to water it down or anything, if he goes longer then 2 days without pooping his poop becomes solid and causes him pain while hes trying to.

My son had juice from 4 months on like 2 ounces every other day because he couldn't poop on his own. His doctor had him on a medicine he hated and it didn't work all that well so we gave him the gerber baby prune juice since they don't sell prune baby food at any of the places we shop for some reason. We continued giving him that baby juice until he was a year old and started pooping on his own. I think it was his formula that caused such constipation but it was the only formula he could keep down. It started when I ran out of milk and had to stop breastfeeding and stopped when we started him on cow's milk. He had reflux really bad so everything else we tried just came back up. And yet we couldn't get his formula on WIC because it wasn't offered and wasn't a "medical necessity"   The one and only thing we would have used the WIC for and they would only give us gerber powder, which he wouldn't drink at all. Meh.
