I think sometimes we get so upset when we look back on stuff like that, not because what happened was so incredibly awful, but because we failed to stand up for ourselves in the first place. Like, we live about 5 minutes from my DH's family, and after my LO was born people constantly stopped by without calling. It would drive me crazy, especially when it happened during nap time, but I never said anything about it. Now I'm kind of bitter and hate to see them come, because they never give us a heads up. So I'll be hanging around relaxing pantless, then someone will knock on the door (unless it was accidentally left unlocked, then they just barge in) and I have to run and find pants. It also startles my daughter, so I have to grab her and try to comfort her, too.

Thankfully my MIL didn't try to be in the delivery room. It just would not have happened, lol. I didn't even let MY mom in. Just the hubby was there, so it was a special, intimate thing.

I actually was going to Huntington for care, and just this month switched. I'm 28 weeks, so I feel kind of weird about switching so late in pregnancy, but I really want a different birth. I am nervous about it, though, lol. My hubby is kind of freaking out, too, but he knows it's what I want.

I know my MIL is upset because I already let them no that we don't want any visitors for at least a week. I am also going to be putting a sign up if I have to and I will keep my doors locked, I'm not answering the door so that way we won't be getting any "surprise" visitors. Knowing my inlaws they will try and claim that they forgot or what not. My DH is the same way but I think that he's come to realize that I'm the one giving birth and he gives in my my demands (within reason) to keep me comfortable. He is okay with not having any visitors since it's what I want. Like last time, my in laws got mad at us because the day we came home from the hospital I wanted to sleep and didn't want to drive over to their house so they could see DD. Dh ended up giving into them and we did drive over there, but like this time it will be different. I am going to baby wear DS and they are not going to grab him and i'll make sure to say so. I'm really hoping and praying things go smoothly.
