It goes for sale on the 25th of jan, 2013. It might get sold that date.

Has the owner given you notice yet? If the owner is in foreclosure then when the house sells the new owner may want to keep you as a tenant or they may not. They don't have to honour your rental agreement with the previous owner. I would try to find another place to live. I would deduct the amount of your damage deposit from your next months rent rather than having them give you a check at the end of the month because if they are losing thier house then they are probably broke and won't be able to pay you the damage. January is usually a good month to move - especially if you are in a college town.

actually my brother owned the house...and he and his ex lose it awhile ago...we havent payed anything since we found out...

we have a new place but cant move in it till feb...
