Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Hi,
Does anyone know if the antibiotic CIPRO can mess up your menstrual cycle? I had a bad UTI after my wedding aniversary(all that baby dance)  , I went to the doctor and she prescribed me CIPRO. I had some brown spotting on Sunday and it was very little, just a panty liner would help. It stoped yesterday and I noticed there was some very fine red discharge when I wiped. I am suppose to start my period today, but NADA! I took a pregnancy test from Wallgreens yesterday and it was a BFN.  
I posted something yesterday about the brown spotting but forgot to mention the UTI.
Any thoughts?

Im on cipro for same thing...i think the uti can mess up the whole cycle i got mine a wk late last month

I think I have a UTI and I can't get into the doctors until next week....ugh
i know that antibiotics can mess with BC, you may want to test again in a couple days.

From someone who has had UTIs consistently for two years or more, Cipro never seemed to mess up my cycle, personally. I was only told of it defeating the purpose of the pill.
I'd wait it out at least for a couple more days.

my last period was Oct 29th to Nov 2nd.

yeah, I heard that anitbiotics can mess with BC, but I've never been on BC so I know it's not that

thanks, I will have to wait and see if AF comes next week with an unwelcome visit.

Im due for af soon i had a lil spotting today tho like jus a very lil speck

I had the spotting a week before AF was due, which was yesterday and still today NOTHING not even the brown spotting anymore.
