No friends..

I feel like I have no friends, I want more mommy friends. I have completally cut off all contact to my old friends because of choices they were makeing & I didnt want it around my 6 month old daughter or my family. & I cant find any local mommy & me classes or anything. Anyone else feel like this?

oh god yes...and when i do find any mommy classes the moms in there are stuck up snobs oh my kid is so great attatude even if there throwing a fit

I definitely know how you feel. I started losing friends when I got married and they were all still single. Then when I got pregnant I basically lost all of them. Its hard for single people with no kids to relate to a pregnant married one. Thankfully I have a husband who I already considered my best friend.

Yeah I have my amazing boyfriend, we have been together for three years. Hes the only person that has stuck by myside though out everything. My mom & sisters are always there for me too but I just want a girly friend to talk to ya know.?& i dont know why but I feel selfish because I have so much to be thankful for already. uggh.

i feel this way! me and SO dont go out and party and club anymore and thats what our friends do...i want a couple friend with kids to hang out with. we have really grown up since dd was born and i feel out of the loop and i cant find couple friends or hell not even a mommy friend for me it sucks

It's normal, I feel the same. I tried reconnected with some friends after I had my baby but it just wasn't the same. There's just nothing in common anymore. I really don't know how to go about meeting new people, especially since now I am stuck at home with a newborn all the time.

Yeah I tried going out with my old friends like 3 months ago, & I ended up leaving at like 10 because i just didnt feel right being there. It sucks I look on the internet all the time with no luck of finding a mommy & me class.

we travel alot due to work so mum friends are hard for me to find, lucky my SO asked around at work and i found a lady similar to my age with a 2 yr old and we meet up every morning now to walk and talk .

I have only joined this one but haven't made any friends yet. It's not that easy coming in new in my opinion. I had found one person that I was semi friends with and now she has disappeared.

Yeah I just hate sitting at the computer all day haha

All the mommy and me classes by me are basically all native Spanish speakers.. and although I can make do with some Spanish but I can't carry on a conversation as well as I'd need to to make any friends in those classes... thankfully my DH is older so a number of his friends have kids an I can hang out with them... but they still feel more like his friends than mine... but I have literally 3 friends here but they all don't have any kids and 2 of them aren't even dating.. I wish I could have more mommy friends so that LO will have more friends once he gets bigger...

I have TONS of friends back where I grew up and where I went to school for a bit that have kids... but that's in NorCal and I live in SoCal so it's so annoying when we go up north to visit my family for a week or two and I have crazy awesome fun filled weeks where I'm surrounded by friends and then I come back down here and it's just me and LO hanging out at home all day since DH is finishing up school and working full time :/

i understand...it didnt feel the same when we went out either. i cant find mommy classes near me. i work with a bunch of moms...but most of them are single and pawn their kid on someone else so they can go party 4 nights a week...or dont have custody of their kid...ugh its frustrating

I grew up in So-Cal & have tons of friends there that I could hang out with that have kids, & I now live in Nor-Cal & cant find any other mammas That arent like super rude. :/
