You are def not alone! My closest (emotionaly) friends live atleast an hour away.

I've been finding friends at the libraries story time. You should see if any of the libraries in your town do a story time, how old is your lo? we also joined a co-op daycare and we loooove it its probably the 1st time in a long time I feel like I'm surrounded by like minded parents and we all have to work together and build real connections with one another to make the school work its awesome. Oh and I didnt know any other pregnant ppl when I was pregnant only on BG but then after I had my daughter I lurked the heck outta FB and found lots of old friends I use to go to school with that where going to be having babies soon too. good luck <3

I kid. I lost all my friends when I got pregnant. Seriously, not one of my friends showed up to my baby shower last weekend. You know who came? Church ladies and my SIL's. It hurt a little but DH is my best friend sooooo smurf them bitches! Lol

Yeah, I hear you. The only good friends DH and I have is a couple that live in Hawaii because he's a Marine. DH goes to hang out with his cousins, brothers, and some of their friends fairly often but I've got no one. I wasn't really popular in high school and all of my college friends live on a different continent. I suck at making friends.

Trust me, I know how you feel. Since I got pregnant, I cut out all drama from my life. Which meant I lost a lot of friends. But you know what? I definitely do not regret it one bit. I have maybe two friends & I never get to see them. It does really suck, but I would so much rather my little man come into the world stress free then with a bunch of drama filled, negative people in his life. You did a good thing for you & your LO. Hopefully you can find a place where you can meet new people. I don't think there are any places around here like that.../:

I live in butte county now & I was born & raised in santa clarita/ valencia.

I drove 9 hours for my baby shower & 2 people showed up. I was like what the hell, Make me drive 9 hours with a 1 month old for what to blow me off, reallly. I was soooo pissed.
