That sounds exactly how I feel. I know there are people down on their luck. How exactly do you help?

We donate a gift card for Christmas dinner and one for gifts for each other for 3 families. We hand deliver them to the families the week of Thanksgiving. I like that they can do the shopping and select things that they want.

I want to volunteer with Children in Crisis this upcoming year. There is also a neat program for elderly people called meals on wheels & you deliver food to those people. My son & I did that last year and it was amazing.
We may do that again when we get back from our trip next month.
I also make a quarterly contribution to United Way. I'm passionate about the program b/c it helps so many people within our local community.
