My daughter has been in and out of it for years. A lot of what it means, depends on the underlying diagnosis. What's going on?

my 90 year old grandmother has had it since she was like 70ish. its fluid build up in the pericardium (the sack around the heart). it can squeeze the heart but t can alsobe drained. if it is kept under control it won't kill you.

It means the heart is pumping too slowly and isn't as efficient as it should be. This has caused the Kidneys to decrease their effectiveness and the body has started to retain fluids. It is actually a very scary condition and I sincerely hope things turn out well for you and LO. Have they scheduled an appointment with a Cardiologist?

I am pregnant 26 weeks and when I went in or my glucose test today the doctor told me id be getting another ultrasound to check his fluid levels and his growth. He said I was getting it done bc my antibody e came.back positivr and they had to draw blood for this every appt but one and they finally identified which it was. It wont hatm me but if my nlood comes back with bad result they are going to have to keep monitoring him because there is a high chance he will have it will he liv??

Yes, he will most likely live. He'll need to be VERY closely followed by a cardiologist and will most likely be in NICU. The vast majority of the prognosis depends on the underlying problem CAUSING the CHF.

If you have any questions or need to talk, feel free to get ahold of me - my 5 year old was diagnosed prenatally with heart problems, and CHF has been a problem periodically since she was born. More than happy to be an ear & shoulder for you!
