irritated...

i just whipped up some home made chicken noodle soup for my sick kids and myslef...

i had it all cooking not too much longer till we could eat.... i go pee, come back to annabelle with a chair by the stove, pourin ghalf and half into the soup...

i was so pissed.. she is still in time out. I looked her in the eye before I went to teh bathroom and told her not to touch it, it needed to cook. and she said okay..

little smurf... now they get mac and cheese. instead of delicuous home made chicken noodle soup, made with roasted garlic whole chicken i made the night before. im pissed ...grrrr

I would be more freaked out that she could reach the hot stove.

I made this awesome oil painting and I told Chloe not to touch it because it takes a long time to dry, same thing happened.
I went to pee, she took a brush and went nuts all over it.

Oh no! Does it taste good? Glad she didn't get burn.

it almost did.. i was so pissed. id make more, but i used all the chicken stock, and im not dragging the kids out just for more stock..


it smelled so good in here, i didnt even taste it, i dumped it down my disposal in a rage.

I can't even imagine what I'd do if Charlotte did that. She had been getting eggs out of the fridge, calling them her 'friends' and wrapping them up in stuff. I had to clean 3 eggs out of the carpet. I ended up just getting a fridge lock, I couldn't take it.

i left the half and half on the counter after i made my coffee..

and i do often let the kids "help" me cook and they pull up a chair to help, but I be sure to tell them, MOMMY has to be here to make sure no one gets hurt and yadda yadda..

my 2 yer old has been acting like an smurf lately though. its rather irritating when she does it on purpose.. i know she was just trying to "cook and be like mommy" but still. They dont understand DANGER yet and I hate it.

Oh no, yeah leaving anything on the counter is basically asking for trouble here. I can't even leave apples on the counter because she'll take a bite out of all of them. Or find a pen and write on walls etc etc. I love her to bits, but that child drives me bonkers.
