I was planning on flying to the Carolina's to see my dying grandmother. She had major surgery a few days ago and isn't doing very well. There's a backstory, like some smurf you would expect on the Lifetime channel. Long tale short, my father was a serious sociopath bastard and I've never met his family.

Today she had a serious scare again, seized and is still really confused. It can go either way right now. I can't take the kids because she is in ICU. I would be staying a few nights. I'm scared she's going to die before I can meet her. Would you go too? Or wait until the 6th like planned?

If you can go now, I'd go.

I'd go. My Poppy just passed on Monday and Im glad that I was there for him. Its a very painful thing if you feel like you should have done something different when it comes to someone dying.
