Well well well

(im 37 weeks) yesterday at my last ultrasound we found out my baby boy flipped into the breach position.   I was really planning on having an all natural birth and now all my plans are changed. I know he can flip but they said its unlikely. now I need to prepare myself for a c-section. Anyone else in this situation?

I was, 37 weeks head up. By 40 weeks he flipped again on his own. Sometimes its just best to wait for the baby to move. I had a friend that was head up at 36 weeks, so they took him csecton at 37 weeks and to say the least he was not ready to come out.

Don't feel pressured by what is convenient for your doctor.

Sadly, not always, depends how baby is positioned. Lots of complications involved.
But op, don't stress, baby can flip. Be prepared in case c-section is necessary, but look on the positive that LO CAN flip back.

It is possible to deliver a breech baby. My sister was born breech and my mom had no problems. Don't feel like you have to have a c section. Look at spinning babies.com that can help. And don't rush into a csection before your due date. You can still have the birth you want

I forget what it's called, but your doctor can attempt to flip LO. Ask them about it. Don't feel like you need to give up on the birth you want just because it's more convenient for your doctor.

Ideas for Encouraging a Breech Baby to Turn

Cold aversion – Take a bag of cold peas, and place on the top of your tummy, near where you believe baby’s head to be.
Music/Sound – Play music or have a deep voice (preferably your partner so that baby will have a better chance at recognizing the voice) at your pelvis.

Light – Shine a flashlight at your lower abdomen.

Visualization – Picture baby moving downwards into your pelvis; settling into a comfortable heads-down position.

Inversion – putting yourself in various upside-down positions
