Painful fake contractions

posted 29th Nov
This is the weirdest thing Ive ever experienced/heard of.

Last night I was contracting like crazy - 8 min apart, probably for a good 3 hours. I figured it wasn't anything because this has been happening since I was about 39 weeks, or even longer. I went to bed about 1:30am, and was able to sleep fine. the contractions stopped as soon as I went to bed. I woke up, got out of bed, peed and they started right back up again. Now they're 10 min apart, and getting more painful, but no closer together, and not lasting more than 15-20 seconds. AND - only when im sitting down.

This has been going on so long that Im sick and tired of timing them, my boyfriend doesnt even ackowledge them anymore because hes heard it so many times - and I just want to scream! Im waiting on L&D to call me to go in to be induced - but I would like to help thhings along if I can.

So- suggestions? S

ex, spicy food, walking, stairs, and squats have been done almost religiously since my due date, and its not working. I need new ideas! Ive been doing nipple stimulation this morning, in hopes it will work.help, but nothing as of yet.

I've been going through this for literally 6 1/2 days. Nothing helps it or makes it go away that I've found. They aren't as painful as real contractions, but they suck.

Try sex.

Have you tried a warm relaxing bath, a good nights rest (Tylenol pm was recommended to me for pre-labor.) and a great meal? I bet if you try to relax and ignore it and just spend time] with your man, your body will relax and interrupt you. Hahaha. Have you tried getting on all 4s and swinging your hips back and forth?

i always thought the more kids you have, the easier labour was supposed to be. this is the longest, most drawn out process EVER!

I cried today   my vagina, and butt, and thighs and everything else down in that area if my body hurt so bad.

Try falling out of bed! Worked for me, fell out of bed in the morning (was a few days overdue) and my water broke.
But in all seriousness, I hope labour starts for you soon and it goes fast and smooth for you!
