fitness tips and motivation

Hi
I really need to start working out and lossing weight to have a healthy active lifestyle, but for the life of me i start and never last more than 2weeks before i fall back to my old ways..... So i thought if there is anyone else out there thats in the same position that just needs motivations and tip to keep going we could share it on here and help each other along.
Share tip and recipes even workout routines as i get bored doing the same thing day in day out.
Even if no one wants to join in il still put things up and see how i go maybe il help someone out    

So to start it off



Im now 210lbs and want to lose 80lbs

Yep...me too!!! I'm around 235 right now...my goal is to be 170-175 pounds. I'm currently doing Visalus. It's 2 shakes a day and a regular meal. All ive been doing is 1 shake a day and some days i skip. It really works and i did loose a lot of weight but got back to my old ways and seem very stuck. I know i should start like NOW but i think i'll be better off if i start after the holidays.

hey im in the same boat! im 212   my problem is i eat late when im not hungry stuff like cearal or chips ive been making it a point not to eat after 7pm i got to bed around 10pm it helped my and i sleep better i was also cutting out pop but lately ive been back sliding on that one its the small steps! a couple smaller steps will get you a lot farther than one but leap!  

id like to get down to 170 by the spring and 145 by next christmas

Hi ladies

I use to be really bad with soda but what i did to wean off it was flavor water the fizzy type which help now i just just drink water and on weekends have the odd fanta. i have read that you shold not eat meals after 5PM just fruits. I use to always wana see results within a week but now i have accpected 1-2lbs a week is the way forward

Lady dee i too keep dropping weight and outting it back on and said il start after xmas but hey no time like the presnant   So with this visalus do you get any snacks? im a bad snacker lol


Do any of you wokout? if so what do you do?

rice cakes and nutragrain bars peanut butter crackers cheese and crackers too i dont work out right now but i do try to walk i takethe stairs at school and the mall

i do

10-15mins jogg a day
and then 3 days a week i do this (this one kicks my ass lol ) but its good

I also have a calorie counter on my phone so I count everything from calories to sugars to protien to vitamins in my food. It's a LOT of work but it helps. I haven't actually made it to a break day yet /: I've either lost my motivation or been "busy" and had an excuse

Pintrest is also a GREAT place to find healthy food, workouts, and motivation. So while you are on a break or you don't have the motivation go there!

OOHHH good idea!! I have the MyFirtnessPal app and a Pedometer app on my iPhone. The Fitness one is the calorie counter and has a place for workouts and the free version of the pedometer times how long you walk and how many steps you take

That a good idea with 2 kids there is always something that needs doing

It's amazing!! It has a little of everything. DIY projects, food, animals, photography, tattoos, and holiday things are just a few.
