If there's no I dextrin doctors can't do anything. Dd has bad sinuses and always gets bad mucus she has since she was a baby. Just suck her nose and let it run it's course unless she got an Infection. The baby does not need anything like cereal or pedialyte.

Mucus? Like snot? All her mom needs to do is suck it out.
There's no need to feed baby anything different. That actually makes no sense.

Umm in my experience feeding a sick child makes them choke and usually they end up puking anyway. formula or breast milk is ask they need when they are sick. A nose bulb for suction and Justs little tykes nose drops. It is saline solution that you can find at any cvs for 3 or 4 bucks

A 3 month old NEEDS to be getting her nutrients from breastmilk, or formula, whatever the mom feeds her. Giving her cereal and water, or pedialyte, or whatever the hell, is only going to make her hungry or dehydrated. There is no need to feed her differently.

Unless she BFs then she can use that as saline instead

the child still needs to be fed. a cold mist humidifier, a boogie sucker and some saline drops...really all you can do.

Tell her she needs to talk to a licensed medical dr for that advice.
