re: mucus problem

i try to keep out of it because they think they know better... like when i was talking to her about her sons mucus problem.. if the dr opens at 1030 it dont hurt to try to call if they have a dr on call... what kids dr dont have anyone on call?? and heres a question.. at what age do the drs give kids medication for congestion/ mucus?

Never unless there's an Infection. You can do OTC meds as directed on the bottle. Some natural ones like similason are 2. Stronger ones like mucinex are 4 or 6 I think.

like my daughter shes 17 mths old, when she was sick they wouldnt give her much because her age before, but now she had to get a breathing treatment when she was really sick, but she was on formula till 12 mths, never gave her whole milk before that.. now with the formula that has more than what whole milk can give to a baby right? its been very long since thats why lol
