I use whole wheat rotini noodles.

Chopped fresh tomato, onion, black olives, pepperoni, cucumber, red pepper flakes a little bit of Italian dressing and throw some parm cheese on top when it's all mixed together.

Any kind of noodles, (usually I use the swirly ones though because I think they are pretty. lol), Italian dressing, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, different colored peppers chopped fine, onion (green or red), and if I'm feeling really adventurous chopped salami and cheese. lol.

Haha. That's t he fun of pasta salad. You can basically use anything and it tastes good and looks good.   That's why I love summer when I make it for parties.

We use the tri-color rotini pasta and while that is cooking I chop up the following into small bite size pieces:

1/2 head cauliflower
1/2 head brocolli
2 cups ham
1/2 block pepper jack cheese
1/2 block sharp cheddar cheese

I drain the pasta and add all the above along with 1 can sliced black olives, and 1 pckg the bite size peperroni's. Add a bottle of italian dressing - we prefer Kraft Zesty Italian. Mix it all together well and let it set. I usually make it the night before cause it is better once it has set awhile and the flavors all marry together. Right before serving I add a package of cherry tomatoes and stir. I get asked to make this every time we go somewhere...everyone loves it.

Just the Kraft Zesty, and after you do it and chill for a little while give it a stir and if it looks dry you can always add more
