Boy name too common?

I really like the name Bentley for a boy but I feel like it's just too common...thoughts?

If you like it then why does it matter =) Im naming my son Conlan which is Gaelic cause I like the fact that its different. Do what makes you happy

I think it's too popular. It's in the top 100 for the country. There are so many names out there that are better than Bentley.

Is it really that popular? I don't recall ever having met a Bentley before! Maybe I'm just out of the loop.

Well we had Tanner picked out...I thought we were set on Tanner Channing but here I am 6 months preggo and I'm thinking that there might be other options....

I never liked the name. I think it's silly to name a child after a type of car. And yes it's VERY common. Quite a few mommas on here have LOs with that name and I know three born to people i know irl in the last two years. Not to mention the teen mom one.

Very. It's also juvenile and makes me think parents who name their children that can't afford the car, so they name their child after it.

i feel like after 16 and pregnant's first season, EVERYONE is naming their son bentley lol but i think it's an adorable name

I don't like it. I know a girl who named her son Bentlee. (gag)
Plus it's going on the same path as the Hayden/Jaden/Aiden names. Gradually becoming more and more popular until every other kid in their class has that name.

you can thank MTV for starting 16 and pregnant and showcasing maci naming her son bentley lol i'm thinking the name's more common amongst teen/young moms.
