NEED ADVICE!
posted 29th Nov
So here's the issue, I was due for my period abot 3 or 4 days ago and haven't got it. Ever since ive taken about 3 pregnancy tests and I don't know if it's juat me but you can see a see through line where the positive line marks (I hope that's part of the test). So now me and my husband are debating on whether qe should keep it or not. If we keep it, i alreadyhave 2 little girls that need all my attention . I'm only 20 years of age and I'm still going to college. I don't know if we would be able to support another baby financially right now. At the same tim e I'm afraid of getting an abortion, Its taking someone's life away. I'm also scared of it damaging me for life emmotionally and physically. I want to be able to reproducein the future....I am using birth control so I don't understand how this happened smh! Please help!

Well first find out if you truly are pregnant and go from there.
If you don't want to take a life away, have you considered adoption?

Take a digital test....
EDITED:
Sorry it posted before I was done.
& there's other options out there besides keeping it. Look into adoption, maybe? But first, take a digital test. It will tell you yay or nay. Or just go to your doctor for blood work. Find out if you're for sure pregnant before jumping to conclusions and getting worried.

Definitely find out if ur pregnant first. And adoption could be a great alternative for u. I can tell u as an adopted child that it is a great alternative. Ive hd a great life and am so glad my birthmom chose adoption over abortion.

I think you could have worded that differently. This is a protected forum remember...
OP, take a digital test. Don't worry yourself until you know if you are actually pregnant or not.

a line w/o color to it is usually just an evap line ....it doesnt mean u r pregnant. u could be ''late'' for many other reasons. untill u get a line w/color too it ,a digital confirmation, or a bloodtest u should try not to stress, since that can delay your period longer.

From experience let me tell you my story if you don't mind:
I was 21 with 3 kids going to school full time and working full time. I am currently pregnant with baby #4. I'm now 24. I wanted an abortion, I thought I can't handle 4 kids and school and work. Well, I didn't get it. I didn't get the abortion because I thought I was strong enough for an abortion but I wasn't. I wasn't ashamed of thinking of getting one. I thought and thought about this decision and DH and I knew we could make it work. Yes, it will be hard but we're strong enough for that.
You need to do what's best for your family. I know an abortion won't be easy (from what I've seen and read) but to the moms who have had one I honestly take my hat off to them because I know it couldn't of been an easy decision to come to. Consider adoption. First thought try another test to make sure. Weigh the pros and cons of every option possible and Good luck to you. You can PM me anytime.

Take a digital pregnancy test. if the line is "see through" it's negative so you are probably delaying your period by stressing..find out forsure if you are pregnant, then decide from there.

Only you can decide on what to do. If you are pregnant and decide to get an abortion, just be ready for backlash from other people. Make sure you are pregnant and go from there. However, if it's just a financial stress, and personal stuff like that, that would make you lean more towards an abortion, there are MANY families that will gladly take the baby, give it a wonderful home and make sure the child has everything the child needs. I have several friends who have been married and trying for years to have a child, and would jump at the opportunity for adoption. If you look in the right place you will be able to find the child a wonderful home.

Thank you everyone for all your help and support. So far I've taken about 6 tests including digital and they're all negative. I am very relieved. I appreciate everyone's help and advice. All I have to wait for is my delayed period.
