Labor sooner than EDD??

posted 29th Nov
I'm 35wks 2dys at the moment and my family feels I'm going to have the baby sooner than my EDD. I've been drinking RRL capsules 2x a day, alfalfa tablets 2x a day, and soon going to start taking the L6W tincture (last six weeks) ;all recommended by my MW. I have been getting BH's or I think so... I feel walking for 30 mins once or twice a week is also doing it's part but how do I exactly know when it's time? is it normal for me to have the runs? I don't think she'll be here like preemie soon just before the 40wk mark. Everyone feels she's going to come on Dec 25th, my mothers bday which I'm not happy about but I'll be turning 39wks on that day. Any advice?

You really don't know. I've had regular contractions for months and pain n pressure. Never went into labor by myself with none of my boys. I would say when you start having regular painful contractions every couple minutes. That's when most know. Everyone is different. Gl

From the beginning, i've said that DD would come around dec 9th, and not make it to her due date. Sure enough, i found out today that they are inducing me on the 12th. Not exactly the same, but the feeling is. She very well come before her due date!

Family thinking she will be early really doesn't mean anything. You could be dilated a couple cm, have BH's all day long and still have a baby overdue. You never know.

I knew it was time with my last two when my water broke... Lol. But with my first I knew because the contractions feel totally different thank BH ones. And I just felt all around different that day. I can't explain it... You just know. Your body tells you.

I thought from the day two pink lines showed up, that my LO would be here @ 38weeks. Idk why I felt like that, just did. My 3rd pregnancy, and I had babies back to back so I was sure. Been having BH from 20+wks, drinking RRLT, using EPO and walking/exercise ball since 36w. I'm currently 40w4d.

I mean, me first two were at least a couple of days early, so I just KNEW my third was going to be early too...specially since I did things I didn't do with my first two, like take EPO...and on top of that I started dilating earlier, started having contractions earlier...

Technically I was right...she was one day really...the latest any of my kids have been.

I don't know anything about thinking the baby will come early....because my son came at 34 weeks without warning. The only way I knew he was coming, was at 4 a.m when I stood up and thought I pee'd my pants. My water broke. No contractions or anything until about 2 hours later.

I know taking all this extra pills/exercise isn't going to bring her sooner but maybe it will make labor a bit easier to deal with is what I'm thinking... I'm getting impatient but I do want her to bake and come out healthy.... it's almost a year lol

Some times I feel I'm going to piss myself but that's just my bladder being full haha I'm scared my water will break unexpected like at the mall or something and I won't have time to head to the birthing center depending how strong contractions are... at least the water breaking will be a sure sign of labor.

I really hope for that feeling when it's the big day.. I know every mother is different so let's see how this goes. I'm so anxious and the baby seems more restless than usual, I can actually feel her little fingers scratching my insides!

Thanks I'm going to look out for that but, I find the timing of contractions a bit diffficult because I feel so many pains I don't know what contractions really feel like. Sometimes I get pain on my stomach and it feels like gas but stronger, other times I feel it below like really strong cramps from a period.. I just breathe through them.

I am hoping for a faster and easier labor also... I kinda freak though when people say they drank RRLT and their labors are under 2hrs haha...

I also heard that! the pushing process is faster and the labor isn't as long. So we'll see!

Red raspberry leaf tea right? I heard it helps tone and make labor easier, Where do you get that at?
