Nursery....

We haven't done anything in here in a while, but I wanted to post pictures anyway   We still have a lot of wall decorating to do. Curtains are up now, too. Still need a rocking chair. Anyway, here's some pictures  




We're replacing all the doors in the house with six panel doors in January, hopefully. It's a small room considering how big the rest of the house is but I still think it's cute

It took me forever to find a set I liked because I didn't want anything too similar to my other son's room and I was positive I was having a girl right up until I saw that little penis LOL. I'm not a big fan of blue so I didn't want something that was totally blue so I thought this set would be great and I love it   My appointment was scheduled way ahead too and it was like the longest 3 weeks ever.

I always ask my husband's opinion but he usually just says "Oh yeah, do whatever you want honey" lol. He doesn't much care what I do as far as home decor goes haha. As long as I don't want to move the flat screen. Heaven forbid. He gave me grief over that for weeks lol.

I scheduled my apt. to be on my husband's 41st birthday.

We're both pretty convinced it's a girl. We'll be in a little bit of shock if she has a penis, but eh. I'm sure we'll get over before we get home   At least then we can get down to the real business of naming the poor thing. I swear we have completely polar opposites in taste and it will take up until the birth to name the poor sweetie.

it depends with him. somethings he really doesn't care too much about, other things he does. sometimes we agree (always shocks the hell out of me.)

we mutually love our bedroom set we're getting next year and when we buy or move into somewhere we can paint, he likes my bedroom idea. YAY!

but we need a new couch desperately. yeah. that one may prove to be a bit of a challenge.

We were the same way with our first boy. I had names and names and names but he really wanted him to be the fourth because he's the third and I was not having that at all. No way in hell. Kenneth Earl? Bleh. We finally compromised and went with Kenneth Reise and call him Reise. I didn't want to have him go by his middle name because I do that and it sucks. This one he agreed on a name fairly quickly lol.

our first was a synch. We had a name all picked out before we got pregnant. My husband is a bit of mama's boy, and when she didn't like it, he nixed it (yeah I was pissed!) so I quickly came up with an alternative. We're from seattle, but obviously living away from home. Elliott Bay is a major part of the town, and so I suggested Elliot because I was seriously homesick. It was an instant success and it stuck. Even before we knew it was a boy, he was Belliot.  

My daughter on the other hand was a nightmare to name.

This time I'm not even sweating it until I have to. There are a couple of names we sorta like, Some I like more than he does, others he likes more than me. Meh. It's our last so at least I won't have to fight him again
