Are you sure he said Heather, and not 'get her'? "Get her, are you gonna get her." sounds more like what someone just woken up would say... disoriented and slurred.

It was probably just error or like the other girl said a jumbled mess. I didn't notice it would sounds similar   either way, I wouldn't be upset. It was an accident if he did.

I think the sounds more likely! In a a sleepy state and sounding mumbled I think he said Get her and she's thought he said Heather.


Also I wouldn't worry too much about what someone says when they are sleeping/just coming out of sleep because it really doesn't mean anything. My DH can have full conversations in his sleep about the most nonsensical stuff. I have been woken up at 3am with him telling me we need to get up and catch the bus to KFC to get the special deal of Popcorn Chicken that was only 10p a box, he was literally crawling about the bed, bouncing about the bed shouting "We need to leave the bus is leaving we're going to miss the deal!!" this is all whilst he is fully asleep and able to engage in conversation at the same time. I have also been woken up by him rolling me about the bed telling me to get up and get out the river, I asked him what had happened and he said there was a flood and we got swept into the river and I had to get out the river quickly because we were drowning, then he randomly got very excited rolled me over so quickly I nearly fell out the bed and started shouting "Omg there's the brand new X Box, Playstation and Wii under you, they've been under you the entire time we've been floating down the river!! Quickly grab and get out before we drown!"   So yes tell her to pay no attention what a man says in his leep lol

my so called me his ex wife name at the beginning of our relationship but that's his sisters name too lol...

I guess I'd be upset depending on the circumstance.

SO has called me "Mom" before by mistake and he's called his mom "sweetheart" ... but he's never called me by another girl's name. I probably wouldn't be too upset because I know my SO and I know for sure he's not the cheating type and he's very loyal.
He's called our female roommate "sweetheart" a few times too, but I can tell when he does it he doesn't mean too, it's just because he's been calling me that all day...

But... I know for a fact I've almost called my SO by my ex's name before, not because I have any feelings for my ex, but because I was with my ex for 5 years up until last year and it was just habit.

So unless it's some chick he's been talking to A LOT and I'm suspicious of something, I wouldn't be upset. It all depends on the circumstance and how much she trusts her SO.

I've called DH my brothers name before (actually I do it pretty regularly!) However DH has called me by his ex wifes name when I was nagging at him one time; it didn't bother me, but tore him up.

eh, i woke so up once and he called me lupita... wtf? so when he was fully awake i was like "wtf?!" he was like "but...we had alot of money and we had a maid" lol.. I wasnt mad, he was having an odd sex dream for sure.
