Ouch Bloating!

posted 29th Nov
Before I start, I'm NOT PREGNANT!

I have IBS and sometimes I get this bloating and it hurts! It feels like my skin in stretching and pulling   And its always in the same area as in the pic below. Anyone else have this and have a magic trick to stop the pain.

Im pretty thin (120 lbs 5'6) but I often look like Im pregnant in my 2nd trimester beacause of bloating. My size 7 pants dont fit me when my friends that are a similar height and weight wear size 3's. My dr said it was IBS but I dont know if I believe it. My aunt things its gluten related. Dr.Oz did a show on bloating on wednesday and said that probiotics are the best thing to help with it.

I had probiotics before and never thought of that, I'll try it! Cause I'm getting sick of this pain like 2-3 times a week and only at night!

My mom said I looked pregnant lol. I'm 5'4 and around 110.

You might have IBS, I was diagnosed with it almost 9 years ago.

My mom keeps telling me I look pregnant too but Im really really not! I showed my doctor how distended my stomache looked and he said it was IBS but he didnt ask about any symptoms or doing any tests. My aunt has IBS and many allergies so I suppose it runs in our family. I dont know if probiotics is a real solution, thats just what Dr Oz said. He had some presentation saying that without the right bacteria in our gut that our food takes longer to digest and more gas is produced etc, causing the bloat. If Im sick with a stomache flu my stomache is really flat, otherwise it almost always looks pregnant.

I'll try it, it can't hurt. My stomach is flat most of the time except at night certain days of the week.

I don't think he can say you have IBS because of how distended your stomach is. I had an colonosccopy and endoscope, it took about a year to diagnose   Then forever to find the right medication and nausea pills.

Hydrocolonic. I swear by them. I was iffy about it at first, but curious. I was like you one morning, I woke up in SO much pain, bloated, bad pain by my ribs, I thought it was heartburn, drank alka seltzer and nothing happened. So I thought it was gas, took gas x, still in pain. Finally I called the colonic center by my house and went in 20 minutes later.

I NEVER feel better in my life than I do when I walk out of getting a colonic.

And if you don't know what it is, it's where a tube is put in your butt, you're filled with water then the water is released. It cleans out over 5 feet of intestines (I think it's intestines??) there's smurf (literally) in you from YEARS ago and this helps dislodge it.

I love it. Sucks it costs $75 a session over here. But it's honestly worth every penny.

I'm sorry what?! They stick a tub up my ass!?   The last time that happened I was knocked out and I prefer it that way haha.

You swear by that? I'm iffy to try that, is it uncomfortable? I mean I'm sure it is so is it painful?

I was just going to try TrueBiotics, I just saw a commercial for it lol.

It's not a big tube. It's small, it's not uncomfortable, it's not even awkward. You don't need to be knocked out. If you don't have anal, insertion of the tube may be uncomfortable, but as for the rest of it, it feels awesome.
