post abortion complications help

i literally just created this account. i had a medical abortion in august. 7 weeks and took the pill. i was so ashamed after it i couldnt bring myself to go to the followup appt. i called my obgyn and played it off as a miscarriage (i cant even bring myself to tell them). they followed my HCG down but it dropped slowly. i am now having irregular bleeding, i pretty much just spotted for this period, pelvic cramping on and off. i had an ultrasound and there is "something" but the dr is unsure of what it is. he put me on antibiotics and i have a follow up appt in jan! i am scared it is retained products and i cant stand the thought of it being in there for another month and half.

i guess i am asking if any of you took the abortion pill and have complications months after. if so what were they?

aside from the fact that this was the biggest mistake of my life...and as a person im changed, i fear that i will have an infection from retained products and it will affect my future fertility.....

Kick your pride to the side and get checked by a doctor.

You cannot undo what has been done, and as hard as it may be emotionally, you need to put aside your emotions and get checked out by a medical professional. Your physical health is important!

You should tell your Dr. the truth. They won't judge you, and they need to have all the correct information to help you. I'm sorry you're going though this hard time.

Nobody is complaining about her abortion.

I have miscarried, and still wouldn't be such an insensitive bitch. GTFO, this is abortion survivors, pro life people don't belong here in the first place. She is suffering a loss either way, you don't need to make her feel worse than she already does.

Sorry you are going through this mama, but as other ladies said, you need to tell your doctor so that he has the information he needs to help you. They deal with this kind of stuff all the time, and are not going to judge you.
