Wasn't worried until now

My DD daycare teacher said DD falls down a lot and wondered if she does that at home. I neer really thought anything of it. 2 year olds fall a lot I thought. She also walks on her tiptoes quite a bit.

Any thoughts?

I'd definitely start to monitor it if the daycare teacher is bringing it up. It could be an indicator of something more serious.

My friends niece used to walk on her tippy toes and occasionally still does it and she's 4 going on 5 she's been to drs and they have tried to stop her but they said its a psychological thing but I'm not sure about the falling part as she never done that :/

Probably a long shot but sometimes whenthe inner ear has problems it affects walking

I still walk on my toes. My pedi told my parents when I was younger that it was a mix of continuous inner ear problems that didn't get corrected soon enough (I was 7 when I got my tubes) and because they put me in a walker until I was way past 1 years old (my mom had my sister 9 months and 4 days after I was born and they didn't want me to hurt her).

I did it when I was small and still do it. DD is 2 and walks on her tip toes a lot as well. We both have really flat feet so that might have something to do with it? We're also really clumsy, walking into stuff and tripping.

I don't know if it would. I have very high arches.

Yeah, it could be lots of reasons. I'm also really short so I stand on my toes a lot just to reach things and it may just be habit and DD could just be copying me.
